Rinse the area with warm water, then
rinse area with cool water.
You probably don't need a shaving cream
for this area, but you could use a product like Skintimate to
lessen or eliminate razor burn.
Be sure to use a sharp blade.
When shaving, stroke an area no more
than twice to reduce skin irritation. On the first stroke, go
"with the grain" to remove most of the hair, then go
"against the grain" for a smooth, close shave.
Be sure to clean the area afterwards
with soap and water to reduce the risk of infection.
Go as long as possible between shavings
to reduce skin irritation.
This is a great area to experiment with
waxing. Less hair and easy access make the process easier. Be
sure to follow the waxing instructions on the box.
A product like Nair or Neet will also
work in these areas, and it tends to slow the return growth of
hair.
