OK, you have decided to trim back your coochie.
Good for you for keeping up with the times. Before you start
you might want to decide what shape you might consider.
A little planning ahead will probably help
in this case. Here are some items you might want to collect:
- A brand new razor blade
- A long hair trimmer (like a beard or bikini
line trimmer)
- A washcloth
- Shaving cream (soap
doesn't cut it)
- Moisturizer
- Some feminine powder
Here is what to do:
1. Before you shower, decide on the shape
you want. Use the hair trimmer to cut back all of the hair beside
what you want behind. Using the trimmer, you should be able to
get the hair very, very short. If you try to skip this step, the
hair won't shave well and you'll end up very irritated. It is
a good idea to do this step while sitting on the edge of the tub,
then you can rinse the hair down the drain.
2. Take a nice, warm shower or bath. You
are soaking the hair to soften it up. Apply some moisturizer to
the hair to help the process and to allow the razor to glide along
the skin.
3. Apply shaving cream to the area. Your
goal when shaving is to run the razor over each area only once
or twice. This reduces irritation. So after moving the razor for
only a few inches, rinse it to clean out the hairs. This process
is more like a guy shaving his face than a woman shaving her legs.
Smooth strokes with a clean, fresh blade work best.
4. Finish by washing with the washcloth
and plenty of water. This prevents your pores from getting clogged.
5. Dry off and apply a talc-free powder.
